India’s Diversity

One of my favourite pictures that I took during my three-month summer stay in India in June 2019. Photographed in a temple complex of the UNESCO World Heritage site Hampi, it represents much of what India stands for. One aspect: the colours and the diversity associated with them. Each of the oncoming Indians wears a shirt in a different colour of the rainbow. What can’t be seen: two minutes later I had to pose for about ten selfies and shook at least as many hands.
